Just choose your music maker: guitar, bass, or drums, and move and shake your phone like you’re grinding your axe or playing the drums. Then, like magic, you’ll be making the kind of noize you can only spell with a Z. And when you’re ready to get all ‘experimental’, just scan Pringles cans to unlock new instruments. The Swedish sandwich spread Kalles Kaviar is mostly enjoyed with hardboiled eggs. So, instead of telling people how good Kalles tastes, the app is an egg timer that not only provides advanced settings to boil your egg, it generates iTunes playlists. When the music stops your eggs are perfect. The online version gave people a step by step guide of how to boil the perfect egg and an egg timer that generated Spotify playlists. The campaigns main purpose was to place Kalles Kaviar among other spreads and cold cuts that you have on your sandwich. The 50.000 app downloads and the 11.500 competition entries strengthened the egg-kaviar connection and indirectly increased Kalles’ sales. My Role: Creative Lead / Art DirectorAdvertising2011 -
Some allege that winning awards is more about having friends on the jury than having good ideas. So, we developed a simple web app: eNepotist (eJäv), for the Golden Egg Awards. The idea is simple: the app scans your FB friends to see how connected you are to the jurors. The more connections, the better chance you’ll have at the awards. Participants can even print out their Nepotist networks for all to admire, and the top ten most connected will receive drinks vouchers at the ceremony. Is good advertising good everywhere? In order to get Swedish advertising agencies to send in more entries to Guldägget advertising awards, we need to prove that a Swedish jury understands Swedish work like no one else.
